Brilliant. So far only a pilot study in rats, so fast food and other restaurants have nothing to worry about as of yet. Results: day and nighttime blood pressure was increased on high salt diet salt intake increased anxiety-type behavior in FBN rats salt intake increased cognitive impairment in FBN rats via OASIS.

Physiologic stress probably does the same, so it’s not clear whether this is a medication adverse effect. Either way, if true it’s bad news for brain integrity (protection from antigens, inflammatory cytokines etc.). Migraine medication induces blood-brain barrier dysfunction via OASIS.
